The project was filmed during the UK’s lockdown in November, over the course of a month, with two real families.
The film is, at its core, a social experiment. To see if two generations, separated by more than 50 years, can use gaming to become better connected. Whether the hours of playing would allow them to learn new things about each other, and spark a desire to spend more time together.
Although its not a film about the pandemic, and was initially conceived before March 2020, the themes of connection over distance and using technology to communicate with those you love are more important than ever
